Hi new moms out there,you must be wondering why your newborn is not sleeping much ,it’s a regular and the most common thing that most of the moms face. The reasons include,
1.Hunger
2.Nightmares
3.lonliness
4.Too much of sleep during the daytime.
5.Irregular sleep patterns.
Ways to help your baby sleep throughout the night:
1.Feed them with food rich in carbohydrates and which stimulates more serotonin(sleep hormone) including banana,cow’s milk ,curd rice etc.
2.Give them a warm bath before the beadtime .
3.Limit the morning naps.
4.Make them to sleep with a supporting cloth or a toy to avoid the sudden fears during their sleep.
5.Create a peaceful sleep environment with less or no brightness.
Follow these and you would definitely notice changes in your baby’ sleep and wake cycles.
